PUPPY KINDERGARTEN
(for dogs, ten weeks to five months old)
Class limited to 16 students

$95 Puppy K (6 weeks); $105 Puppy S.T.A.R. (7 weeks)


This class encourages social skills with other puppies and with people, teaching basic manners (sit, down, come when called). Instructors discuss housebreaking, crate training, grooming and behavior problems. Puppies get to negotiate puppy-sized agility obstacles. Puppies should wear a plain collar unless otherwise advised by instructor. Handlers must be at least 12 years old.

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is an exciting new program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. At the end of the 6 week class your instructor will administer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test.

Upon passing the test, you'll get an application to send to AKC® for enrollment in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program and receive the AKC S.T.A.R PUPPY MEDAL. All dogs are welcome to participate in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program including purebreds and mixed breeds. Handlers must be at least 12 years old.

I have great memories of our training in Ferndale back in 1996. We had only two classes, but our dog was nicely behaved for a lifetime. We lived in Royal Oak at the time, but have since moved to the east side of Troy, so even your location change works better for us. See you soon!
