Laying the mats • January 30, 2007
It took a crew of more than a dozen to lay the twenty-nine Top Dog
matting rolls, each weighing almost 400lbs. The result was well worth
it. Thanks to "The Floor Crew" for working until midnight to get the job
done: John Kurpas, Charlie Barr, Cherie Berger, Dan Harteau, Val
Marthaler, Jim Litwin, Dorothy Marble, Judy Dahlke, Kathy Kennedy,
Deneane Hart, Amede DeCruydt, Katie Parcells.
The first Class in the new building, Conformation Walk-In on Tuesday night. Conformation Class 1/30/07 The Top Dog matting was unloaded from the truck Tuesday morning by Charlie, Don, & Cathi and the really big, strong truck driver. Cherie, Dorothy & Amede checking out the anti-fatigue matting. Cherie whistles while she works! Dorothy does not whistle while she works. Laying the first couple rows of the Top Dog matting. Each roll weighs almost 400 lbs. It takes several people just to position the mat exactly in place. Floor laying crew: Amede, Dan, Cherie and Dorothy. Val stands up for a moment, then it's back to hands and knees to work on the floor. Wrestling the final mat into position. Finishing up, John gets to stand up at last. The final product. An almost seamless 2-layer cushioned floor. What a TOP NOTCH facility!
